I plan on trying these with some CFE223. When I finally get them rolled and tested, I will post.

    Thanks AZ crew

Using Hodgdon's benchMark and some range pickup Wolf/R-P brass and some 20+ year old Rem 7 1/2 BR primers, these 62's did pretty darn well by my standards. Best group was the fourth at .706" center to center. Conditions were excellent, 1-3 mph breeze from the 6, temps at 90F with Humidity 15%, elevation is 3250 ASL. Looking forward to shooting these at greater distance.

Rifle is a Colt H-Bar Elite 24" with 5150 rounds in the log prior to beginning this test. Barrel had 154 rounds since cleaning and was fouled with IMR 8208 XBR. Scope is a 25+ year old Leupold 16X with a dot. Jewel trigger, Tubb spring and LMT enhanced carrier, JP adjustable gas block.

Yea, very nice. I used to have one of those monster Colt HBAR guns with beefy barrel. Those beast can shoot, excellent choice. Glad the bullets did their sub moa effort for you.

It's pretty cool how forgiving 223 / 556 brass is. I bought some Lapua brass and never saw a huge advantage. I'm sure it was better, but never really played out for us to any significant performance we couldn't get with other fired brass.

Man. That's a better group than we've been able to shoot. I'm still thrilled with these bullets every time we shoot them.

Like I said conditions were excellent. But thank you

I do pay attention to the powder charge consistency by setting my Redding BR3 to a point where 10 consecutive charges average out to the charge weight I am looking for. The Gempro 250 scale really helps. Still my SD's were a bit higher than what I would like. So these were the first rounds for the .223 that I ever crimped! Using the Lee collet die... Senility apparently is getting the drop on me. Well out to the range again in the early morning. Going to try and 18" and a 14.5. Thanks again to the OP and pal for the introduction to this bullet.

I'm just blowing these things out on my 550b with LT-32 powder. I'd run any powder I had handy since they seem to shoot well with any combination.

Now the question is, does it frag and penetrate enough?
