Do you get the PMag to work?

    Nice job on the build.

    Thanks.
I never did try the PMAG. I just ended up buy some CMMG-modified Lancer mags. https://www.cmmginc.com/product/maga...m-lancer-10rd/

A bullet that big will create more gaps than it fills

A great deal of matte rail needs to be removed to get a PMag to feed acceptably.
Slightly modified Lancers have worked well for me.

What is "matte rail", typo on material perhaps? It makes sense to use Lancers in a .458, PMag & GI = 5.56. I was just curious if he got it to reliably work.

If you didn't see my 1st page post, my modified PMags run great. I'm not sure what gen Pmag has that little V guide in the front. File/sand it to a downward angle & 300-350 gr hollow points feed 100%. The longer heavy >410 grain bullets don't even fit in that gen PMag due to that V. Those bullets work fine in regular STANAG mags.
