    I was taking 1000iu daily and upped it to 2000 (one 1K in the am, one in the pm). IIRC, the 25(OH)D level was 12 ng/mL? I'd have to look at the report again when I get home, also to see if it covered mag level.

    What where your 25OHD levels? Without knowing how deficient, hard to say but most find they need at least 5k IU to see real changes in levels. Going from 1k to 2k and re testing in 30 days likely a waste of time, but read article linked and confer with your doc.
