Someone was having an issue with it functioning and I was asked to look at it. Since the gas block wasn't installed correctly, I simply pulled it off and measured it.

If I recall correctly there are some 10.5 LMT barrels/Uppers with .070ish GP. Maybe someone can chime in.

Yes, apparently those are the older production uppers. Apparently, they’ve been opened up, but I’m not sure when they started doing so.

Anyone Measured a BCM 16" ELW CHF mid lately?

I got two late last year and they're gassers.

I just put in a .076 insert in the gas block on my larue 16 inch stealth barrel. At .076 it is ejecting to 1 o clock. I just ordered a new insert at .070. Hopefully that will work.

I also ordered one of their gas tubes for my 11.5 inch. I got the .065 port.

My Noveske SS 16" measured ~.081" in a completely unscientific aircraft awl, thumbnail, digital caliper fashion. Interestingly, this upper on a stock LMT lower with carbine buffer and FABCG failed to lock back last round of 5.56 XM193. The only thing we can conclude is the bolt was traveling too fast for the bolt catch to catch it. H2 and it runs fine...

Ordered 3/9/2017 from DSG, but it didn't ship until 5/9/2017, delay backorder from Noveske.
With an H2 it behaves itself mostly...

.081 is a LOT of gas for a 16" mid.

Yeah, that one surprises me - I have a 10.5" Noveske CHF that I bought two years ago, measured with pin gauges at .080.
