I saw the new pictures, kinda bummed the barrel still has that integral flash hider. I might get one, I don't know. Only 50 for sale though. Could buy plenty of other stuff for $3230, but then nothing else comes close to that Swiss craftsmanship and quality either. And it's just plain cool having a firearm with the Swiss Crest on it (other than a K31 that is).

I have a 550 SP2 and a 553 sbr. I also have a us Sig 551wfortified with a bunch of Swiss parts. Love them but one is really small and one is a big ass rifle and one isn't Swiss. The 551 is the best looking black rifle there is IMO. If I could find a 16 inch barrel one I would probably sell a bunch of my other stuff to get it. 3200'is a bunch of money but compared to what Preban 551s cost it is a relative bargain. Also was told Ti expect that my 553r won't arrive until September. Should have the form 1 back by then.

They need to bring in one with a 14.5 threaded bbl then we could pin and weld and have a title I rifle.

Shooting sight makes a nice tool steel EDM hammer and sear. The 556 piston and trigger are compatible with the 551. We really need US magazines (ahem, Magpul can you hear this....please) or at least followers and floorplates. The 550 and 551 with integral FH need 5 US parts. The 552/553 with removable FH need 6 US parts.
