Need a little help
I'm looking at buying a STAG Arms model 2 AR for my wife. We compete in a local tactical shooting match. She currently shoots a Beretta CX4 9mm carbine which has worked out pretty well.
My problem is they plan on changing up some of the scenarios which will require engaging targets at longer distances that I think the Beretta is not capable of the accuracy needed.
My question is what do you guys think of the current STAG products? It is my understanding and the claim of STAG's customer service that the latest models meet military specifications.
In the big picture we would probably be considered low volume shooters as far as ammo goes.
My wife is petite so weight is an issue. She seems to be able to handle the 16" carbine as long as the barrel is in a M4 configuration (standard weight under the handguards).
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
