    I guess what it all boils down to is... The OP is trying to convince himself that a one by whatever scope can do any and everything a RDS would do. Wrong! Even considering the tint and bloom what would you rather take to clear a room? What would you take to plug a rabbit for dinner? I know what I would take based on the fact that the rabbit probably won't be shooting back!

    That's not the case at all. While searching for "duty" quality solutions to the problem I have and taking into consideration the purpose of both the rifles it seemed to point to the same optic. Which I thought didn't sound right.

    I know that an RDS is faster and understand why.
    A Porche is faster than a Camry but if you can't drive a stick it doesn't matter.

    I found a killer deal on a like new Razor gen 2 in a larue mount for under 1k. Im going to run that on my rifles and see if it fits the bill for either.

    I know there's a lot of guys who can't use aimpoints and I'm curious what the best solution for that is.
