    trigger guard roll pin

Try using a small socket under the trigger guard roll pin hole, The socket diameter has to be larger than the roll pin like a short 3/16" socket. Also you can't let the receiver rebound from the hammer/punch tap, It has to be on a hard surface and well supported. And if you're using a tapered punch make sure the punch is not small enough to enter the pin and expand it. Good luck!

Thanks, that was what I was looking for.

    I'll get one ordered.

Thats what I did. I have a LMT that I snapped off one of the ears. I used some JB wield to put the ear back on and I plan using the MIAD with the integral trigger guard. I am pretty sure it will work just fine.

I have done this before. The best part was it was a buddies rifle that I broke. Didnt I feel like an asshole. I was able to get a replacement lower for him in about a week from Stag.

    Question Trigger guard detent stuck?

Trying to install a Redi-Mod and I can't get the trigger guard detent to depress!

I've used everything from the tip of a round to a punch and brass hammer with negative results. Any suggestions?

It's a Magpul enhanced trigger guard if it makes a difference. Do I need to remove the rear roll pin instead?

Magpul trigger guards do not have a push in type pin. It is a small allen head screw. At least the ones that I have were like that. The screw also had a dab of blue Loc-Tite on it as well.
