I would actually say it made a very noticeable difference on my Glock 19. I feel like I have more control, and my fingers aren't as cramped. I can barely stand picking up my Glock 26 now so I'll be getting the same work done on it eventually.

If any shop tells you it can't be done on its own, they are trying to up sale you. It is the one thing I do to every glock I own, and it makes a huge difference in feel. If it is done correctly, you can't tell it was even done unless you know glock really really well....

They did a very good job on that. Almost seemless. I did my first finger groove removal and stipple this weekend, and I feel I really messed up my double undercut

Thank you, When I do them I try and match them with the factory finish. I also do the same on the memory cut, or can apply texture, whichever the customer wants.

Can I ask what tool works best for the undercut itself?

A doll rod and various grit sand paper works well in my experience.

I have a couple of specialized bits that I use to make the cuts clean. Then I have a finish I apply to the grip to match the factory texture.

Larry Vickers was impressed when I showed him the undercuts that you did on my G17 frame a few years back. He was examining the finish. He commented that it was nicely done.
