I would love to get my hands on one of their 11.6 uppers.
I agree, love to have one as well. Wonder if you could get a 16” and have the barrel shortened?

If anyone knows about Colts, it is Scotty Ryan. And I agree with you on the C-8's. I handled a few when I spent a few years living in Canada. Great rifles, and wish the ban on barrels/part// and rifles would be lifted.

I bought a pair of Colt 6920's in late 2006 through a LE sales site. One of the guns I received was actually a Colt Canada gun. Visually the only difference is the "Made in Canada" stamp on the receiver and the markings on the barrel were done with a laser engraving vs. stamped.

I haven't shot the gun all that much, but I do notice a slight increase in accuracy with the Colt barrel vs. my American made 6920's.

FYSA I have seen a guy on "other" forums selling Diemaco marked complete barreled uppers.
If I remember correctly he said they were law enforcement trade ins or something like that.

Just watch what you build around those Diemaco uppers, 'cause they're 922R parts thanks to Bush I and the '89 import ban. Very annoying, since I have a C7 and C8 penciled in on the Future Builds List...

Those are still LE configured rifles, (6920, 6520, 6721, etc).

There is nobody selling C7, C8, SFW, IUR, or MMR type uppers anywhere in the US.

Well I’m slowly building up a C8 but I’m at a stand still on which rail (14.5” carbine), what rail would be correct KAC RAS or what? What lowers are being used?
    Thanks

Standard issue on 15.7" C8A3 is a regular CAR skinny handguard with a screw-on Cadex Carbine Rail and a tri-rail clamped around the FSB (good LUCK finding the latter!), but some units and individuals have private-purchased KAC M4 RAS's. 14.5 original, you're pretty much looking at "no rails here" IIRC.

I built our A3 using a BCM SFW URG, had Buckeye Tactical special-order the rails and MacGyvered an airsoft-market tri-rail as a temporary stand-in until I have a pathway to a better option.

Nice, thank you. I think I may just go with the RAS for now? Seems the best solution while not correct, it’s correct enough for me until I can figure out a lower.

I’ve been seeing a lot of these uppers for sale lately through IG channels...they are here and ppl are trying to move them. I almost snagged one a few weeks ago.
