    Not all lumens are created equal.

    The perception of the amount of light can be very different between LEDs and Incandescent, as well as beam shape and hotspot density. In my experience SF lights in the 65 lumen range seem to be about the same as 75 lumen lights from other companies, when comparing incan lights.

    Environment plays a big part as well- as noted above- in which a 65 lumen light may not give you what you need depending on environmental factors and compromises.

    Really what I am saying is that the best judge of what is enough or too much lies on you trying out lights in the environments needed. The G2 is the starting point, it just happens to be 65 lumens and low cost. I personally like the X300, but it is a bit more cake than the G2 w a decent mount.
