I have a CHIP's 'dissapator' carbine, tho' mine came with an A2 stock, which is too long for me; replaced it with an A1.

The CHIP model is the one I replicated (I think). The advertisement I posted here shows a photo of what I got the idea from a few years ago. These were sold by CDNN back in 2012 or 2013 if I recall.
I used some extra ArmaLite green furniture on mine.
All in all it shot and handled real well. I like the balance of it.
You should share some photos of your's if possible. I'd also like to see a shot of the gas tube configuration on an original (if you can remove the hand guards for a photo).
