Silky Big Boy 2000 XL Folding Saw

Hi guys, I made a video review of the Silky Big Boy 2000 XL that I'd like to share with you guys and get your thoughts on. I personally feel in love with it. I've used several others: Bahco, Fiskars, and some other brands you can get at home improvement stores. Man this thing cuts through wood like a laser! The weight isn't too bad at all considering how well it cuts. I've taken it backpacking and we had a ton on fun making firewood. I used the Silky and my Junglas. I'm sorry but I don't have that particular Silky/Junglas tag team footage in the video review.

This review is not sponsored in any way, I bought this saw with my own money, and the video is not monetized. I also asked for permission to post these reviews.

Cool. Good review. I've been using this guy to clear shooting lanes near my tree stands. So far so good. http://www.husqvarna.com/us/accessor...-fo/967236401/

Thanks brother. That husqvarna looks really cool. Kinda high tech looking. I want to buy one of their axes

Silky makes really good pruning saws, I like the Super Accel 210.

I bet! I'm thinking about buying the Pocketboy saw next.

Silky Big Boy 2000 XL Folding Saw

You did a nice job on the review.

I have four Silky saws, and my favorite is the Gomboy 240. There's very little that my Gomboy 300 can do that the 240 can't also do, while taking up less space in my pack.

My first was a curved Ultra Accel 240, and I liked it quite a bit, until the Gomboy 240 arrived.

The Pocket Boy is an outstanding little saw that cuts way above it's sze class.

At half of the weight and a smaller footprint, the Gomboy is a better option for backpacking. Silky makes great hand saws.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the other saws. I have the PocketBoy on my wishlist hopefully the GF will hook me up soon! I never thought I would like a saw so much lol.

Yeah right brother, the Gomboy looks like a great choice! When I first bought the Bahco I thought that was the best it could get, until I bought the Silky.
