I loved it when it was discovered that IV8888 made a bunch of money from them, after always telling his viewers, "You know me guys, I never give paid endorsements!" for years. He alone probably helped Olight become relevant, and not looked at as harshly as they would have without his blessing.

Just be cautious if you need to have anything sent in for warranty.

They replaced an S10 Baton for me promptly with a free upgrade to the newer gen model. No problems with warranty for me. Sadly a friend borrowed it and then lost it, lesson learned.

I'm with Stick on this. I have bought five of their Aimpoint mounts, for both personal use and for gifts. All have proved durable and problem-free. I have no problem recommending MI.

I've never owned anything MI. No real reason or prejudice against MI, just never got to it personally.

Why in that case MI does not get too much love from people on this forum over say Colt/BCM/LMT/KAC/Geissle/Centurion/Aero/Rainier/etc.? Even Palmetto has its fans, but I rarely hear people recommending MI as a solid option over something else. Even less so do I see any authoritative comparison reviews on their products.

Primary Arms has Guntech's anti-walk pin sets and easy-pull takedown pins at better than half-off as part of their Memorial Day sale. I wouldn't say they're worth junking my KNS pins on existing builds for by any stretch of the imagination nor would I generally consider them anywhere near the Big Leagues, but going forward I have more confidence in sideplates that are positively held on by Loctited screws at both ends rather than having one end by nothing but tab-in-slot, particularly when I'm building on polymer blanks.

Stick, just for the record "COTB" is just my go-to example for illustrating somebody who needs something they can bet their life on but also needs "value for money," as opposed to the John Hammond "spare no expense and figure out how to pay for it later" types.

Here's my Midwest story, though my only actual MI product I own is a Keymod rail section. When I needed Keymod covers for my first AR build, I turned to them as the last ones who appeared to have BCM Foliage Green in stock--apparently somebody else and I got into a clicking race for the last three packs and the other guy won, as they immediately reached out to me and asked if I wanted to backorder, change or cancel. Since I was in no hurry, I asked them to give it a few months and see if BCM ran more, and also tried to reach out to BCM to find out if there was a chance of any more being in the pipeline. Ended up that at Time Zero, we switched my order to Black covers with a spritz from my trusty can of Rustoleum O.D. but they still honored the original sale price. They are very firmly on my Worth Doing Business With Again list.

LBT is having some sales on packs. Several are two pack deals. Like a 3 Day assault + SBR ... which is kinda odd since they don;t connect together as far as I can tell. Anyway... London Bridge Trading

    --- MDHAZ19 = $9.99 Hazmat

    West Marine:
Several BOGO items.. Boating fluids, a Kidde fire extinguisher,
    Also other general sales.

REI: Nearing end of their biggest sale of the year. Lots of things discounted down in the range of 25% like Sawyer water filtration items are 25% off.

ARRL: Free 11th edition o the operating manual if you join. Ends Midnight May 26th.

    G&R Tactical --- various discounts
