I've never joined DVOR. Thoughts and opinions from guys who use it?
    Stick

Board policy mandates I state that I shoot for BCM. I have also done work for 200 or so manufacturers within the firearm community. I am prior service, a full time LEO, firearm instructor, armorer, TL, martial arts instructor, and all around good guy.

It's basically OpticsPlanet with occasionally slightly better prices but no free shipping until you hit $500. Same customer service as OP.

I keep tabs on them, but it has to be a really screaming deal for me to buy from them; that said maybe I've been lucky but other than their long lead times before shipping I've never had a problem before.

Yeah this. They're ok, not great. They have good products and decent sales, but it's hit or miss which models they have available, and more times then not the sale is on the "off" version. By that I mean the less popular color, or reticle, size, things like that. You can find some good deals there, but make sure it's what you want because they only give credit for returns, no refunds.

I have used them a few times. But mostly for Misc Deals that pop up.

When you add in their shipping costs, a lot of the items don't really wind up that much cheaper, but at times there are some killer deals on there.

For anyone interested in the NFA Suppressor Game right now, GunProDeals has the
GRIFFIN SILENCER M4SD-K 5.56MM w/ QD MOUNT for 565. After shipping to your Class 3 Dealer, it would be 580.

If anyone really is looking, would be best to buy before the Stimulus checks.

I opened my NFA Trust and bought my first suppressor this week. Liberty Mystic X. Also for a great steal at GunProDeals with 4 mounts for 599

The GOV really needs to get the suppressor nonsense taken care of.

Cans make firearms slightly less loud (unless you are firing subs), but not typically hearing safe. They make firearms incredibly dirty, they are expensive, they add weight penalties, they add length penalties, often require adapters, are expendable and fragile (sad but true), and that is just off the top of my head. For cans to be treated like they are omnipotent killing machines shows an obscene level of ignorance.

    Amen!

Don't know if you have seen HR 6126, while it doesn't remove Suppressors from the NFA Reg, or disband it as I really wish they would do, but it would require the ATF to auto approve any forms over 90 days.

I would love to see this gain traction, it's the inch that could lead into the Mile against the NFA.

With all this said, I know it's a bit off topic, but I am right there with you.

The fact I had to set up a trust and follow legal process to protect my assets in the future for one specific type of items (type 2 NFA) is just garbage.

I had not heard of that, and while I don’t like it, it beats another proverbial stick in the eye. Which is what we seem to get with firearm laws.

Just a reminder for my fellow History Dorks, Osprey's got their Week 2 freebies up. This week's topics include the WWII Hawker Hurricane fighter, American WWII and postwar heavy cruisers, the Battle of Waterloo, Japanese samurai in the late 1500s and the Czech Legion of World War I.
