I'm in Colorado and received a 6920 since the mag ban. Just ask the vendor to yank the magazine and ship the rifle without one, it's been my experience that most will accomodate (if they can), and I've done business with Locked and Loaded before so suspect they will. As far as the $, ofc not everybody has unlimited funds, but you've heard the argument before. If it were me I'd start checking the cushions of the couch for loose change, or beg/borrow/no stealing for the extra few hundred bucks.

Hell, if he were in my neighborhood in WA I'd tell him to order an upper and a stripped lower, fix him up with one of my spare LPK's and take my toolkit and hold his hand through full building.

This checks every box except “unknown” assembly quality. But for B5 and what looks like CMT parts, hard to beat giving it a shot.

BCM A5 Kit in-stock at joebobs. Not really a deal, but just in case someone was looking for one.

Something like this could be a good option

Complete PSA 16" nitride upper with BCG/CH and rail $399: https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-...per-w-bcg.html
PSA complete lower with Magpul STR $250: https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-...-magazine.html

    Total $ 650 before tax/shipping
    Another PSA lower.

"I'm not sure I've ever fired a mid length gas system before," and firing the gun without sights doesn't inspire a lot of confidence in his reviewing skills. Just sayin...

EDIT: That was just painful to watch. When his buddy put a red dot on the rifle so, you know, he could actually see what he was "aiming" for, he shot it with the caps closed. "Don't know why he wanted to put this red dot on here." SMH. I couldn't watch anymore when he called the M-Lok handguard "skeletonized" because he didn't know they were M-Lok slots... Wow.

FYI..apparently you are not aware that Misha is blind. Once you realize that it makes his videos even more fascinating. He "sees" through touch...if you watch this video carefully you will see him feeling the castle nut for staking. He is really an amazing man.
