I'm not exactly sure how to take that... :P I have subscriptions to a metric crapload of store newsletters, and when I see something in them or while chasing something else that makes me go "Hmm" I pass it along... whether a potential deal to share or a ripoff to have fun ridiculing like Cheaper Than Dirt with the $100 Pmag scam.

Take it as a complement. Lots of people entertain themselves with shopping or sports. Shopping for deals on guns stuff checks both of those boxes, especially as it gets expensive.

To my surprise it fits in pretty well. Hood clears to flip over and the other locking retention holds pretty well too. I dont have it mounted on a belt yet but I couldnt get it out until releasing the lever.

Take the other locking retention piece out and only use the hood. If the weapon isn’t built for it, you stand a chance of it locking up. With just the hood in use, you don’t have to worry about it. I pull the secondary lock / latch out on all my holsters. I’m more than satisfied with its level of security with the rotating hood in place.
    Stick

Thanks for the Pro tip. This is my first safariland holster of any kind. Have a few G-codes and don't lock into the slide like this seems to.

Can I just undo that top bolt that looks to hold the secondary mechanism in?

    Stripped KP-15 lowers for $73.13.

You don’t need the receiver extension, castle nut, end plate, or pistol grip.

Downsides: A2 stock length and not all triggers fit

Definitely a deal, in my mind.
