Arms Unlimited has HK416 buffer tubes for $10. Are these compatible with other AR's, and anything special one would need to know about them? I don't like Commercial tubes, but this is starting to look like it might have potential for getting my next two builds on the fast track budgetwise, combining that with their $6 Colt springs and assuming I find a quality buffer on sale somewhere reputable.

For $10 that's a hard deal to pass up. I'm sure being HK they are a quality part, commercial spec or not.

Magpul has continued their clothing line, and once again it has not done well. My understanding is that new people have been brought on board to change the clothing lineup. I think the the issue is that people love Magpul for value based accessories, not for expensive clothing. However, that doesn't negate quality that is put into the clothing, I think it is just an overall perception. Magpul isn't making anything all that different than other brands (for clothing). While that might not seen like a good thing, Magpul is a juggernaut at this point, and they will continue to roll along without crying.

The good news for all of us is that once again, the Magpul clothing lineup has been bought up and is being blow out on clearance by LA Police Gear.

I share it because it’s a good price from a respected knife maker.

I’d order one if Colorado law allowed conceal carry with that length. It’s a quarter inch too long.
