Since the C8 is meant as a range-toy and my Serious Social Work irons are my 10.3 "briefcase special" and my 1911, I'm debating between this or OT Supplier's MOE SL package-deal to go on "her gun"--the stock itself is getting replaced with a CAR anyway, though I might use the waffle as part of the display kit around my M4gery.

You can shoot an AR, using AK mags, as a SBR, without the stamp or travel forms, while laughing at people using 7.62x39 AR mags with mixed success, paying a lot more per round for 300BO/AAC, as they swear at the optics they are trying to mount and zero using side rails, gas tube rails, hand guard rails, or dust cover mounts and crappy sights they may or may not be able to use.

It is. Big Tex Outdoors is also blowing them out, for a few dollars more than Lanbos. Interesting, as I thought these were already gone. There are rumors that Trijicon is about to announce an updated model to better compete with the ACRO while maintaining the same mounting footprint. Maybe this is an indicator of that being true.
Super tempting as I want a few more mounted on pistols and prefer the type 1 because of the stupid auto dim feature on all type 2s.
