Every time I turn around, Palmetto State Armory is getting more of my money. STOP IT!

My take: I have used these. They work fine. I've actually gotten a couple of bad USGI mags with the mint green followers but these D & H mags have always worked. Sample sizes were similar, about 20 mags each. The one "bad" thing about these (if you care) is that the finish is somewhat shiny like the black BCM mags (at least earlier batches were). But for seven bucks apiece I can repaint the sonsabitches.

Sarco just got 15-rd 1911 mags in again for $14 each... thinking about a couple long-tubes if I can find any that are reliable, just to flip off the gun-grabbers. Is this closer to "Screaming Deal" or "Scream and RUN!"?

I would characterize this more as interesting than good.... basically an upper build kit sans bcg with a free lpk and CH for $179. Every time I think I see a bottom in the price of AR parts, someone says hold my beer. Good for a beater I guess or maybe practicing clearing malfs if/when it doesn't run well

Opinion on something... AR15 Safe Space has the Real Avid AR Master Toolkit for $220, or Lanbo's for $180. Is this enough upgrade from the Wheeler AR Ultra kit to be worth the money, or is there a "duffel-size" toolkit better than either I should look at instead?

Based on what I've read from you posting, I believe you have the knowledge such that you'd be better off putting a kit together on your own. That way you wouldn't get dental tools (of dubious quality) that you likely wouldn't use, and better quality on other items, such as the torque wrench.

Real Avid is a nice step up fro Wheeler. I have their wrench and upper receiver rod and really like them. I would put them right up there with Magpul and Gissele quality wise as far as tools go. If you dont want to piece together a kit, this would be one of the better combos available IMO
