Reach out to Mark at Summit Gun Broker. He is currently showing out of stock, but he buys a LOT of PD trade-ins.

GT Distributors in Austin is also a good group to contact.

I have probably bought a half-dozen 870 Police Magnums and Wingmasters from those two folks.

That said I wouldn't choose online first. Theres always gun shops with them, at least in my AO, for around the $200 mark and they're generally negotiable. YMMV on the local end.

Days of the cop trade in shotguns are going to be coming to an end pretty soon. Most departments got rid of them a long time ago. I would guess that more than half the cops on the street have never used a shotgun on duty, and the number is probably much higher.

Streamlight Polytac and rail mount for $56 shipped at GG&G. Is this Rockpile Ready, or closer toward the "Kids' Airsoft Toys" end of the --has anyone here used a weapon-mounted Polytac on deployment?

True. I got a factory SBR 870 1-2 years ago, but haven't really seem on stock again since.

I figured as much, a localish place got a bunch in around January but I ignored them for some dumb reason, even had the old surefire forend on them for $300.

I have had a Polytac on the shooty end of my 16” 9mm AR trainer for around seven years. Last time I checked, it still lit up, maybe 135 lumens. Probably a bit less than 10k rounds fired As for deployment, I have deployed four miles to the 50 yard range repeatedly with said light.

I have a number of Surefires and some Streamlights. Ironically, have had more issues with Surefires than Streamlights, but My case of one multiplied by seven Surefires and four Streamlights.
I figure $50 is a fair deal, but there is probably a reason why Surefires cost 5x.

So okay for a range toy or a "training/Home D" gun but doesn't pass muster as plausible on a near-clone. Thanks, guys. Any suggestions about something Rockpile Grade in around the Surefire G2X class?
