At this point it's looking like I may be forced to withdraw my Battery Junction reco, they're starting to turn into the Palmetto State Armory of lights.
Timeline of events:
--Nov 5: Order Pelican case/foam/12xCR123 battery combo and Olight light. Pelican case is listed "In Stock", Olight as "preorder, batch due 11/11." Supposed to pull my case/battery kit and hold until lights come in.
--Nov 11: Light arrives in stock at BJ. Order listed as "Shipped" soon after, no tracking number, ship date or estimated delivery date given.
--Nov 20: I contact BJ asking for tracking/etc data, am told "case on backorder, will ship about 12/13."
--Nov 21: Note from BJ: "We've just received notice from the manufacturer that the delayed items on your order will be arriving at our warehouse later than expected. We now anticipate that your order will ship in 4 - 6 weeks."
Gibbs Rule #36: "if you feel like you're being played, you probably are." I've asked them to switch my order to a different color of case that their rep specifically said WAS in-stock to get things moving, which was an option they offered, but my patience runs out at three Major Delays. (A couple days I'll let slide, more than a week goes on the scoreboard.) So, we'll see if it works out... thinking if they push Three Strikes You're Out it'll be "either ship my light by close of business tomorrow and cancel the battery/case kit, or just cancel the entire order and refund my money."
