I had been wanting a DD PDW. A buddy could get me a major discount off retail for one if I wanted to wait six months. I ended up finding one in stock at $50 over retail. It’s the only one I could find. It’s waiting on me to pick it up.

One in the hand beats two in the bush.... Saving money is great up to a certain point, but if you are going to be actively using something, it becomes different IMHO.

Ad copy specifically says "No BCG." If I still had a Build Slot open for the net couple years and didn't have too much immediate "move out/sell house/etc" and "taking care of the Old Ones" crap to deal with, I'd be tempted to snag two and just drop in Toolcrafts from Arm or Ally then swap on the M5 RAS (M16) and round basic (C7) handguards I already have.

Personally I wouldn’t pay more than $400. There was a recent deal with the upgraded LRP mount vs the older QRP.

Lapg regularly has them for $427 minus 10-20% plus tax.

Thanks, guys. I'm looking for an older-style mount like used on a CompM2/M68 for a clone build. LAPG's out-of-stock, with shipping Larue's quoting me $449, and this is the last piece I need to finish my M4.

As someone who has one (A pro), I would get this LaRue deal. The QD knob on the factory mount sucks.
