$229 is a ripoff. Here's a semi-auto Enhanced carrier for $149; unless you have a NFA machine gun the tiny weight difference isn't worth $80.

You can "special order" a FA Enhanced carrier for $169 from the same company but I don't know when it will arrive.

I've ordered odds and ends here and there. Never noticed it to take a long time but I don't sit by the window waiting. 9 times out of 10 I forget I even ordered something. Besides i don't need it right this second. Since I don't shoot a 1000 rounds a day i have enough ammo to last a month and and I'd rather pay less and wait then pay double but get it faster. Besides ordering from SGammo took 10 days when everything was hunky dory, not exactly fast. Now add another week or so. So I can pay 1/2 price and wait an extra week

I have ordered several items from optics planet without any problems. Others here have had issues. As Arik noted, I would rather wait longer and save $. They may ship sooner than the 26 days. I got a scope from them sooner than they had estimated it would take.
