Board policy mandates I state that I shoot for BCM. I have also done work for 200 or so manufacturers within the firearm community. I am prior service, a full time LEO, firearm instructor, armorer, TL, martial arts instructor, and all around good guy.
I also shoot and write for various publications. Let me know if you know cool secrets or have toys worthy of an article...

Sorry I was referring to the Std Mfg bolt carrier group I posted. In the below statement they say what the bolt is made of (not carpenter 158), then say it's heat treated and shot peened to "mil-spec". Kind of misleading was what I meant.

I think it's a good deal. You just need to know going in most of it is expired. But like food, the expiration dates are more for the lawyers than the users.
