Yes. Drop leg, open carry, tan/brown spectrum, specific purpose is to mimic the issue M45A1 rig for Service Pistol matches and hands-on learning applications. This is not meant for an EDC--since my career goal is get back into academia as a History prof, this is for applications like "shoot the weapons of a Marine on Guadalcanal wearing his kit, then shoot the weapons and kit of his grandson in Afghanistan, then write a paper comparing and contrasting the equipment and doctrine from your own hands-on range experience." EDC I have an IWB that's worked well for me my entire life and plans to order a Dillinger Rig from Ted Blocker or an A.E. Nelson "Untouchables" if they still make it for shoulder carry.

Would I prefer the exact model the USMC issued if it were still readily available, yes, but at this stage if I have to settle for Functions Alike from a reputable OEM at slightly different color... well, the only reason I was able to get a CASV-EL for a "Mk 18-ish" build based on a reported EOD version was I was willing to settle for OD Green on the last one Vltor had.

I cannot vouch for the aerogroup website, unsure of origin but was able to find MARSOC identifiers here. If your looking for a GI replica this may be the ticket.

    ^^ SureFire X200/X300 version

OnyxArms also lists this using MARSOC numbers (SafariLand):
    Colt 1911-A1 NON RAIL. W/ Surefire Mount MR07, W/ SureFire x200/x300 Light 5″ BBL.
    https://onyxarms.com/index.php/produ...-sp10-ms30-nh/

Using the MARSOC numbers you should also be able to find other vendors selling drop-leg rigs, I'll let you do the price/style/appearance shopping. Good luck

Juke, that's the same info as I already had, but thanks. These are the right-hand versions, and... well, I'm functionally little better than a fiddler crab in use of both arms--and what use of my right arm I *have* is because back in college when I was shooting with some buddies who were sheriff's deputies, they made me do every drill once with my left hand then twice with my right. To this day twenty years later if you saw me without a shirt you'd notice that my left arm is visibly bigger and shoulder visibly higher than my right, along with reduced range of motion from being musclebound on that side.

Aerobase usually deals in real-deal parts for defense contractors and military units at real-deal government-contractor prices, WBPARTS, PartTarget, NSNCenter and ArmyProperty are all similar sites I've used for lookups before. I actually have the exact NSN and Safariland part number buried somewhere in a Notepad file... it's usually part of NSN 8415-01-535-6367 Marine Individual Assault Kit.
    https://aerobasegroup.com/nsn/8415-01-535-6367
    https://www.iso-group.com/NSN/8415-01-535-6367
I have the complete ingredient list copied into that file, but between OCR scan errors, autocorrect errors and finding manufacturer names and part numbers... I ended up going to the working assumption that Safariland 6004's for 5" 1911's would only have minor variance in the underbarrel area to accommodate clean, rail or rail w/light mounted frames as needed, and since I don't see myself cooking up a homebrew M45A1 anytime soon I figure my old duty sidearm that I'm teeing up to retire should be a reasonable "stunt double" for both old and new. (It's only being retired due to irreplaceable sentimental value, if there's a chance a sidearm might not be coming back to me postgame in a Hostile Defense Emergency I'd rather it not be one with memories attached.) I sent Safariland an email sometime in 2019 asking for more information and never got a response, not even a "thank you for your interest but we can't help you."

I think I paid $60 on eBay for my FDE safariland rotating hood holster. It might have been less than that, just as a reminder to anyone looking for a 1911 Marsoc clone set up. In my case, I simply want the rotating hood on everything, that way if it’s duty or woods, my rigs are all the same.

Thanks, Stick; right now eBay is running in the 100s-200s range and Aerobase et al are quoting costs in gov procurement channels in the 300-400 range.

If you're into rolling the dice on braces still, AR15Discounts has SBA3's and SBA4's without tubes for $80 FDE or Gray, Black or OD ten bucks more.
    https://ar15discounts.com/products/s...o-buffer-tube/
    https://ar15discounts.com/products/s...ce-only-black/

Okay Surefeeds for $12, too. https://ar15discounts.com/products/o...56-30rd-black/
    Lancers for $16. https://ar15discounts.com/products/l...30rd-magazine/
Full list: https://ar15discounts.com/collections/daily-deals/ Lots of stuff I'd take a pass on like Strike Industries and the crappy JE Machine knockoff SOPMOD stock, but some things with potential. Centurion AMT for $55 or ALG QMS for $45 sound pretty good.

Dismal experience with them - ordered a case of .38 ammo and received case of 380 - multiple emails w/pictures of ammo/shipping label/carton label - reply was send us pictures - sent multiple times, no relief - ending up disputing on credit card - would NOT do any business with them again - YMMV
