I can find no info on why this is non-duty rated. Rejects over spec in production run?

20% off Aero Precision at AimSurplus. Thinking I better get those 20" M16A4- and C7A2-to-be uppers ordered while I can before King Jay the Worst finally gets his Worse Than Commiefornia ban to sign...
For example, they're quoting me 374 all-up to ship one of those 20" uppers WITH carry-handle sight, Aero Precision $407 for the same upper WITHOUT.

If you have a shipping address here in the Soviet Socialist Shithole of Seattlestan, Aero Precision is 25% off your order with code WA25 on top of the expedite for us locals. Got two 20" M16A4 uppers with MOE handguards for $610 shipped.
Now I need to dig the handguards out of my storage unit, find someone who wants 20" FSP MOE's, order my BCG's and CH's, find a Matech BUIS for the A4 and another knockoff Tri-Rail for the C7, fight with my mother and the accountants and lawyers working probate to get a thousand-buck loan against my part of the estate for an ACOG...
Oh, and figure out what Marines in the Rockpile did to keep those black KAC railcovers from getting El Scorcho under the beating sun. Rattlecan, or swap on rubber ladders?

In non-micromanaging organizations, it is/was common for dudes to swap them or leave them off. PM me for examples of brands that were common in overseas BXs. Here’s a MK18 from such a USMC organization:

Follow up on the ND55664 ammo. I received my shipment yesterday. It appears to be a gold dot bullet on a fusion 64gr soft point loading, like it was a mix-up. Powder looks the same. I have a ton of fusion so I pulled a few bullets to take a look. Unfortunately, I just shot the rest of my gold dot.
On Fusion bullets the lead tip sits proud. On these and my memory of gold dot, they just sit flush to help with deformation. I have included pics below. Someone far more knowledgeable than me please chime in. I will get chrono numbers later this week out of a 16" and a 12.5".
