Wilson Combat's having a 20%-off sale on a lot of their 1911 parts right now. I'm a bit salty over things with Vickers too, but the build is already half Wilson guts and I wanted to keep things as close to piece-for-piece as I could to the one OpticsPlanet canceled on me so I could hae whoever ended up being my replacement vendor send a note about "thanks for the sale and the customer you didn't want."

Not to detract from the thread, but what is there to be salty about? Hard to have a gun salesman that has been convicted of illegal arms traffic. Hard to sell and promote products you aren’t allowed to own, let alone touch.

Let's just say the whole mess on all sides, including all participants. Frankly, I think LAV made an enemy at ATF HQ who waited until just the right sign of weakness to apply the pressure, but that's beside the point.

I’m not seeing much of a mess on Wilson’s end. While I don’t agree with any Federal gun laws or that what Vickers did should be a crime, Wilson didn’t do anything wrong.
