Hope the vltor a5h2 works in my 9” 300 pistol build because I just picked one up at sons of liberty.

Also is this a good deal?

Any input on fail zero bcg for a 300 blk build? My only concern is the non carpenter bolt.

It's not recommended by many on this forum. There are multiple threads as to why. If you are looking at the price point, Centurion Arms is selling for that price. If you like coated bolt carrier groups, Sionics NP3 is a good choice.

Brownells has the Trijicon MRO for $360 with code FN3.

Geissele has their MRO mount for $47.50.

~$400, with free shipping on both.

This Black Friday has been hard work not spending. Another good deal, Sionics 11.5 barrel with their 10" rail, $189.

I may "tune" it someday to a -1 or -3, but honestly I'm not high speed enough to notice a significant difference yet. I just went with the -2 because that's the OG A5 weight.

*ETA* If your question was more general and not A5 specific, then I can say my rifle previously had zero problems with the standard H buffer and carbine spring, and it also ran perfectly with an H2 and a Sprinco blue (I tried the latter combo for a couple hundred rounds just for shits and giggles, not because of any problem with the original H setup)
Thanks to all for the advice.

I should have clarified; I was speaking about the A5 setup, specifically.

I have 2x A5 setups with the 'standard' (at the time) A5H0 buffer, and agree that setup certainly doesn't seem "picky" (cycles everything). I may try a A5H2 for my next purchase.

If anybody is looking for a great way to protect your tools from home to the range, take a look at Nanuk 990 and 995 Cases. They are currently having a crazy good sale for Cyber Monday at Zoro.com with 20% off orders of $150 or more and 25% off orders of $299 or more with FREE shipping (code at the top of the site page). Just be sure to order a case with foam.

I have compared them to a buddy's Pelican 1750 and 1720 cases and the Nanuk cases have a few cool features I am happy to pay a couple bucks more for.

You don’t see many Bartlein barrels at this price.
