From listening to the audio on the shootings, I just can't tell. It sounds like two different guns being fired to me.

Just saw the video of the gunfire coming from the room on the news. Definitely full auto. It sounded different in that clip. I'll see if I can find it. Pretty wild events.

Sounds like a combo of one gun, echoes, possibly overhead snaps or rounds hitting concrete.

I tried to count the first mag...at least 75.

ETA...they just played a vid on the news...that sounded.....m60ish.

Per the Sheriff in his press conference. 20+ dead, 100+ injured. 2 on duty officers were injured, one critical and one has minor injuries. The shooter was on the 32nd floor of Mandalay Bay and was killed in a fight with the LVMPD. He was a local Vegas resident and they are looking for a known female associate of his.

Reporters at the presser keep asking stupid questions. I want to kick each of them.

Still a full search going on at Mandalay. Lots of strike teams. Scanner is non stop. Know at least 3 friends who have relatives and friends hit by gunfire.
I've been to this music festival for 3 years straight..but it actually sold out this year. So I didn't get tickets. Almost bought 2 tickets this morning for today for $100 but was worried about the wristband being tampered with.

That gunfire sure sounds weird in the first video 7n6. I've only fired a few full auto rifles, but I sure don't recall the RPM changing like that. Almost sounded like a hand cranked Gatling gun.

This was fairly accurate, long range sustained fire.



My money is on MG of the 7.62 variety.

ETA...what I’m saying is, I’d be surprised if it was a “simulated” auto gun.
