Unfortunately I'm guessing an AR-15 with a slide fire and a couple of Beta-Mags are likely in play here. Easy to obtain all the parts needed.

I hope the asshole who did this suffered a lot before he died. Probably didn't though.

Any word on motive or affiliations of the shooter? Judging by the target venue a few groups come to mind as possible sponsors of this terrorist attack.

That’s what I was thinking as well. If he is in fact a leftist radical, the media will look to move past this story as fast as they possibly can.

Las Vegas Metro Police say the suspect was a local resident.

Big & Rich happened to be on stage, these fellas are good friends with and were recently on Sean Hannity's show on Fox News, I wonder if that was intentional on the shooter's part?

I'm wondering if these guy stole his weapon(s) from somewhere like Battlefield Vegas or something as well...

It certainly sounds an awful lot like a belt fed, I would guess an M60 or an M240.
The "Today Show" is playing in the other room with the standard New York gun experts wondering if it was a 9 or 10 mm handgun.
I have little doubt that it was a liberal who decided firing in to a crowd of Country Music fans would take the highest number of Trump Voters.
    We shall see...
