That SBR number seems crazy low. Maybe I'm just off.

Could they be registered to MInnesota residents and kept out of state?

Honestly, let them write their bill banning anything and everything and let it die in committee. Shelve the suppressor bill and bring it back around in six to nine months. The grabbers know that it's a continual battle, why would we treat it any differently?

Dunno. I suppose, but I have always been under the impression that NFA Branch would kick back any NFA application for a resident of a state where that particular item wasn't legal. I know that was how it worked for suppressors until they were made legal here a couple of years ago.

The numbers on this chart seem very off.

This time around bith sides will leave suppressors alone, negotiate away "bump fire" stocks, claim victory, and the democrats will say "we need more", republicans will say "we saved your guns" and both will... keep fund raising.

It could include Form 5 transfers to LE agencies.

2500 short barrel shotguns in use by the 430 law enforcement agencies and 10,000 LEO's in the state... seems unlikely to me.

    When did MN ban them?

If they were there before they were banned, there is no requirement to notify ATF if you change it back to regular status.

Good point. Maybe that’s it. I thought they were banned since the NFA was enacted (along with machine guns), but I don’t know for sure.
