Carinthia MIG jacket in black or grey would probably be perfect. Carinthia only makes cold weather clothing and sleeping bags for MIL and Alpine use, and they are among the very best.

Available in "Thunderhead grey" and size XL. Definitely non tactical, but designed for everything the mountains can throw at you. Look around online for STP coupons - you can usually find a good 15-20% off. That will bring the jacket down to $130ish.

Eastern Mountain Sports has some offerings that are really the best bang for the buck IMO.
