I just picked my two up. The roll mark is indeed light/nonexistent on part of the L and O on the Colt logo on both (identical location). The serial number is a "cr". One lower is perfect the other has a messed up forging. The staking is machine made, perfect, no dents, dings or scratches, the lpk looks correct also, and my Vltor upper fits perfectly.

I've never owned a Colt, so I don't know if the forging flaw is normal, it's only cosmetic. It also came with an H buffer, I'm happy. The white spots are lint from the micro fiber cloth. I have an iPhone 7+, it takes great close up pictures.

So if these lowers are CR prefix'd does that indicate the expanse line? I'm not up on all the colt prefix serial number stuff.

I was hoping to get a deal on LE marked 6920 lowers. But now its looking like they will be CR marked.. if that even makes a difference?

My uppers arrived. I like them. I’m not going to strip them. The paint a little rough on them and the one in the center still has some type of rubber in the take down pin holes from the painting process.

I don't think so, Colt probably wanted to differentiate them for some reason. I was kinda bummed about the roll mark, but can care less about the serial number. I could be wrong though, I just realized there is no forge mark on the lower.

You really have to ask why Conservatives have guns? Because Liberals block freeways, burn cities, throw Molotov cocktails, loot, turn over cop cars, and think this behavior is Socially Acceptable.
