Very small difference. Look by the rear takedown pin.
Also missing the forge mark near the trigger.
Would like to know how they are getting the QR in it at about 11 o’clock from the safety selector. (Shown in Jerrasic’s pic)

Missing the keyhole forge markings is a bummer IMHO. Oh well.
This lower will constitute my fourth genuine Colt “firearm.” The others include one LE6920 complete M4 carbine, one Colt CCU carbine, one LE6920 receiver from a complete carbine that I SBR’d and now has a BCM 11.5” upper on it, and one “Colts Law Enforcement Carbine” with the “Restricted” markings. All purchased NIB by me over the years.
Only one has the forging marking near the trigger guard and that is the SBR LE6920 lower.
Aside from the CR serial number and QR thingy they stamp on the receivers now, this lower looks the same as my others (the CCU has the QR thingy too). In fact, as I said before, this new one is actually of better cosmetic quality than the others. Oh, the L in Colt is lightly stamped. The top of the pony logo on the “Restricted” LE6920 is also light and almost non-existent. It’s my most shot (well over 5000 rounds) and proven most reliable carbine, even making it through a few Pannone and McNamara carbine courses. Sure glad the light pony roll mark didn’t affect its reliability...
I for one am extremely pleased with the new lower. To each their own I guess based on this thread and some the “concerns” stated. End of the day it’s a $250 COLT lower. Great deal.

Well, quickly skip the rest of this post then...
New code for 10% off + free shipping brings it down to $235 shipped:
10% off + free shipping: Use code "MCL"
Code ends tonight, and I just verified that it works.
Just got back from my FFL to pick up my receiver. (I am the OP of this thread and the one Stickman & Co are ripping on for harping on about serial prefixes.... haha)
A few observations:
1. CR prefix serial
2. No keyhole forge mark by trigger.
3. The "L" on "Colt" engraving isn't complete.
4. Came with 4-position receiver extension
5. Castle nut is staked well.
6. The box (from Colt) reads: "Model SP633784 Complete Lower Receiver, Semi Auto Spares"
Interestingly enough, my FFL had another complete Colt lower receiver (also from Brownells) that a different customer ordered and it had the "LE" serial prefix, but no keyhole forge marking. The fact that they, explicitly, put the word "Spares" on the box leads me to believe this is one of those instances where Colt slapped a bunch of random shit together they had at the factory to get it out the door to appease their investors and generate much-needed revenue. This has happened before (See A4 complete rifles which had the incorrectly-marked "1:9" barrels when they were actually 1:7 twist; MrGunsNGear did a review on these), so I don't think it's anything to make a big stink about (it shouldn't stop you from buying one of these).
If you want a collectible Pony you can stash in the back of the safe that'll retain maximum resale value, this probably isn't it, but my original plan still stands: gonna slap a BCM/KAC upper on it, paint it, and shoot the shit out've it.
Hope this helps.
