Reading all of this is making me wish I would have waited to order my MRO. Ordered yesterday and won’t know what I got for a few more days I guess.
I think youll be happy with it no matter what. The magnification on the older ones is very little. I think its an awesome sight.
I read on another sporting rifle site that the ones shipping from a place that sounds like bow tack were the updated ones. So we will see.

I always hear horrible things about them but I have never had an issue. Plus the deal was too good. The MRO is for my CZ Scorpion so I needed one with no mount and they are selling them for $339 shipped.
Weapon Outfitters also for $339.

The beasts of modernism have mutated into the beasts of postmodernism—relativism into nihilism, amorality into immorality, irrationality into insanity, sexual deviancy into polymorphous perversity. And since then, generations of intelligent students under the guidance of their enlightened professors have looked into the abyss, have contemplated those beasts, and have said, “How interesting, how exciting.”
—Gertrude Himmelfarb, On Looking into the Abyss (1994)
Oh wow. And I thought I was getting a great deal. Too late now.
Can anyone confirm the forgings with updated registered trademark symbol as an accurate indicator of the newer less-magnification version? I just received SN 88304 and 89131 that both appear to have magnification and the "TM" symbol on the housing.

Response from Trijicon: "There will be $50.00 charge if you would like the glass changed as this is not a manufacturer defect. This is considered and upgrade."
