Raven Concealment Systems launched their new Perun OWB Glock holsters today

For $39.99 I will give one a try. I will be cutting the outside sweat band off of mine asap. Imho, you should have the option of having one or not. The injection molding machines can spit these out in probably less than a minute, with little to no finish work. A much bigger profit margin for them with less headaches, which is fine.

I really liked the Eidolon but wanted to see models that accepted more than Glocks, and with options for lights. Now they just need to make these IWB with light compatability and we should be GTG.

The Perun will be available for pre-launch purchase on Black Friday, with units shipping in time to be under the tree for Christmas morning. The first three models it will be available for will be:

Glock 19 (Gen 5/Glock M and backward compatible)
    Glock 43

Following quickly thereafter, will be a Perun LC for:
    Glock 19/17/34 + Streamlight TLR-1 HL
    Glock 19/17/34 + Surefire X-300U

Followed quickly thereafter by (order subject to change based on .gov orders):
    Sig P-320
    Sig P-320 Compact
    HK VP-9
    S&W M&P Shield 9mm (2.0 and backward compatible)
    Ruger LC-9
    1911 5” Government profile
    Springfield XDS

Already ordered two this morning - one for a G17 and one for a G19. I have a Gen 5 G17 and a Gen5 G19 arriving next week. These should be a good match.

The price point on these should be a big draw. At only forty bucks, there should be no reason for Cletus or Lurlene to buy a Uncle Mike's sausage sack.

Look for them between end of Q1 and Q2 2018. More pistol models and light-bearing options available then.

Sausage sacks! Lol. That is great.
And yes, at $40 they should sell well, the fact that they can be set up left and right handed is going to be a draw as well. No pun intended.

I really do like the LH or RH capability as well. I learned a long time ago to always order a complete set of gear for each side, after breaking my right wrist and right ankle a few years ago.

Factor in the Copia mag carriers, and it looks very affordable. Which is very nice for someone starting a family with a tight budget, or a young cop on a rookie's paycheck.

I like it since one of my personal projects is getting more proficient with my left hand side. It like a non issue with a rifle. But with a pistol, without a holster you can use it kind of can only go far.

I will be ordering one as soon as the light capable versions hit the street.

I did too and was starting to get annoyed with RCS when they would release a stupid limited edition color but not an LC model. The owner recently made a post in a FB group saying basically while they knew there were consumers wanting that, for many business reasons (namely .gov contracts) it just wasn't feasible. That's heavily paraphrased btw. But he's been active on another forum detailing out the timeline and it seems straightforward.

Ok, I'll be "that" guy here. I expected more from RCS's new hotness than a house-made version of the Blade Tech Total Eclipse with a giant RCS logo. I'm disappointed.
