Can a Zenith Z-43P (HK93 clone) be made 922R compliant?

Thanks for the explanation of why it exists. I was lucky to find mine. Fortunately I was shooing on a blue tarp so I could save my brass. I looked down and saw it.

That's funny, mine fell out recently too. I couldn't find it, and had to buy a new one. What was interesting was when that plug with the threaded hole behind it fell out. Apparently it is a cosmetic addition to bridge the gap between the cocking tube, which for some reason they make short, and the front sight post.

Since it's just extra weight with no function over cosmetics, I left mine out, but it looks a bit odd without it.

Pretty sure the bayonet lug mount is more securely attached, might want to get one just to keep crap out of the cocking tube. The weight is inconsequential.

Atlantic has MKE stocks and metal magazines, so I decided to get an MKE stock for this rifle. I'll use the H&K for something else. It's interesting that the MKE stock has a green tint to it.
