    Indeed it does. Good catch.

What did you pay for it? These have piqued my interest for awhile. I’ve thought about buying one and having it converted for use as a sear host.

I would probably go with 7 from the following:

    Flash hider
Cocking handle (are US made 93/33/53 handles available?)
    Hammer
    Trigger
    Sear
Fire control frame (prusik USA makes one, sold through RTG)
    Bolt carrier
    Fore end (Dakota Mlok)
Mag follower (could a promag follower be used in a HK mag?)

It was $1385.20 from Brownells using a 10% off + free shipping coupon code.

I read on HKPro.com that this rifle uses an HK21 version of the cocking handle. I don't even know what an HK21 is. I couldn't find a 93/33/53 cocking handle, but apparently it doesn't matter.

Mag follower (could a promag follower be used in a HK mag?)
Don't know, but RTGParts sells plastic followers for the factory metal magazines for $9 each.

Does this thing take regular 93 mags or just those weird plastic ones pictured?

Standard 93/33/53 mags. The plastic ones also fit the german 93/33/53.

That’s a good price. The 21E cocking handle is indeed a bit different than the standard 93/33/53/g3 cocking handle and not cross compatible. I bet Beltfed Precision has a US made version that will fit.

    21E is the beltfed 308.

I didn’t see that RTG offers followers; thanks for the heads up.

The cocking handle is different than the 21 cocking handle. Not sure what it takes to swap it out, but it's not a straight swap.

This particular pistol has what seems to be a permanently attached flash hider on it. If the flash hider has been permanently attached, does it still count as a part for 922r purposes or is it considered to be part of the barrel?

It's considered part of the barrel if permanently attached.

It's not permanent, or even semi-permanent. There is a set screw, that removes easily, then it unscrews like any roller lock rifle caliber rifle. The barrel threads are HK spec, with the notches for the spring engagement.
