    Who's Genuinely in for a Geissele Mk14 10.75 rail?

I am posting this poll as to see what actual interest there may be on a Geissele mk14 10.75 SMR. I would personally buy two and could do one in both Black and DDC. Or 2 in black. I am hoping to get enough commitment that it would make it possible to have them do a run. If not direct though Geissele, I thought Gunz and the boys at Sionics may have a little more pull then others if they could "maybe" request a run?? If you don't actually have any intention of buying any Geissele rail and want a different manufactures, then don't vote. Ill let the poll speak for itself. I personally like the dimensions on the mk14 over the 8 and that is why "I prefer" the 14. I would assume some sort of deposit would need to be made also. So take that into consideration.

I have been following the other thread. I think a 10.75 MK14 in DDC would be amazeballs. I will be totally honest, pretty much every Geissele purchase I have made has been on sale. I really don't have any interest in paying full MSRP for one, but if it became a regular item, I would absolutely pick up at least one on a black friday/memorial/etc. sale. I have charging handles, 30mm mounts, T1 and MRO mounts, 3 of their forends, and a couple triggers (that doesn't count the ALG stuff), so I feel like I can appreciate the quality from Geissele, but I would be lying if I said I was going to jump on a 10.75 MK14 for $275 right now.

I hear ya. I guess you get a Gas block if you get it from Geissele... I would also like it to be a regular item, but I don't see that happening unless they have a ton of interest. This may be the only way to kick it off, unless someone else puts in an order and sells it below MSRP.

I’m fine paying full price for a limited run unique rail like this. Guaranteed purchase here.

The poll has too many options. An MK14 in 10.75 black. Up/down vote.

I would be fine with just black. But if the only way to make it happen is to get the DDC group on there that would be just a matter of putting rails in a different spot for anodizing. The 2 rail options are for folks like me who want more then one. In the other thread someone wanted 4. So I felt adding the multiple quanity would be useful to up the tally.

I would take either a Mk8 or Mk14. Just make it 10.75" already... lol

Personally I'd rather an 11.75" Mk 8 (ie, a GL/SSC-size), or better yet a version with M-Lok on both top and bottom slants... but while I can't say when I'd fork over due to unpredictable cash flows and not knowing when or if the build I'm thinking of is going to proceed, I'm supportive of The Cause in principle.

    I'd consider a Mk16 rail in that length, but the MK14 only allows you to mount things 12, 3, 6 & 9 o'clock...

...as long as it's the set screw version of the MK16! I have no interest in the MK14, which, IMHO, is inferior to both the MK16 and the MK8.

    FWIW, I'd purchase two 10.75" MK8s or two 10.75" MK16s if either is released. I will not purchase a 10.75" MK14.

I'm in for either color but would prefer the Mk8 in black but will take a MK14 in DDC if that's the only option.

I wish Geissele would make the 10.75 a standard optiion.
