    I have read Ruger's Pinetree Casting also does the casting for Caspian which makes sense when you consider both have their plunger tubes casted into the frame and no one else does to my knowledge.

    For 1911's, I have to admit I prefer Colts. However, I think Ruger makes a good 1911 for the money.

    Ruger has also launched a 9mm government model with an adjustable rear sight.
