I am a fan of the Tavor as well as the X95, and I think this thing is pretty damn cool. As long as it's reliable it looks like a blast.

Imagine the wailing and gnashing of teeth from the Fudds when they see it... and from ATF over the "Sporting Purpose" bullshit.

That said, wouldn't mind one... especially if it makes Elmer J. and his gun-grabber buddies drop dead of apoplexy.

Besides looking cool AF, this is the only reason I would purchase one ! :-)

You know this thing is actually pretty cool, the evolution of the SD shotgun. If it is reliable and the street price is significantly less than msrp it could make me retire my decades old Mossberg 500.

Is this an SRM 1216 with an IWI facelift, or is it just a very similar design?

edit: looked more closely, different design. 3x5rnd mag vs srm 4x4rnd. Appears to have a different operating system.

Pretty neat looking shotgun. When I first saw it, I thought of the marine pulse rifle from Aliens.

It’s fun to shoot. Each tube holds 5 23/4” shells or 4 3”. Recoil was fairly light, but you need rounds going at least 1250 FPS to cycle. After a tube is empty the bolt locks to the rear and you push the lever inside the front of the trigger guard to release and rotate the tube cylinder in any direction. As soon as the new tube is in position it locks and sends a new shell into the chamber.
