You really have to ask why Conservatives have guns? Because Liberals block freeways, burn cities, throw Molotov cocktails, loot, turn over cop cars, and think this behavior is Socially Acceptable.

Slightly OT but I never got the whole chicken wing spiel.
Her right arm is chicken winged up. That was/is a marksmanshhip technique used to accentuate the pocket in your shoulder to snug the buttstock into your shoulder. Obviously, it isn't conducive to not getting your arm shot off if you are using cover.
You never heard that before?
My prior was intended as humor, BTW...thanks to shoulder issues, chicken-winging with brace/stock in the crook of my elbow is the only way I can handle a rifle AT ALL. "Improvise, Adapt, Overcome" and all...

No I fully understand the technique. I just dont get why some people (not saying Diamondback as I gleaned his sardonic tone) act like it is an affront to God to chickenwing. I am a lanky chap with long arms. Its the only way I am comfortable. If we are clearing out a dope house then sure, we are tucking our appendages in. But if I am on my personal time then I'm going to be comfortable. Esp. if I am using a 1907 sling.
Actually, that stock looks--though this may be perspective and camera-angle--almost like she has the recoil-pad in her elbow like I would.
As I observed over at TFB (IIRC) to someone who was griping about the rifling twists, "These rifles aren't made for the frontline of today. Their purpose is to be a Nostalgia Trip for the veterans who were there, and a History Lesson written in steel for us who were not."

I read The Firearms Blog article with those pics included. The irony is the date they were published: Nov. 22, 1963.

But in one of those pics the furniture does have a lighter shade plus the OG three prong peculiar to the USAF.
That's an interesting scope and not like the Colt sport scopes. Would love to see a color photo of it.
Just imagine how the media would be shittin' kittens today if Miss America 2017 did the same thing with today's equivalent rifle...
