"Properly" is subject to definition. Can you add pics of yours to the running thread with same? There's quite a compilation going.

Any manufacturer can and will have quality control issues.
For some, certain issues are trends and norms. Finding a BM with good staking is quite an exception.

Oh boy, I can see where this is going....

Like some of the above posters have stated, in your case its the exception not the rule !!

You are correct and that may be true. But with Bushamster it isn't a problem. It is an epidemic and it is the rule not the exception with them.

Got any pics? Most people are not aware of what proper staking looks like.

To date, I can count on one hand the number of BM gas keys that were staked properly (out of HUNDREDS seen).

With BM, it is NOT a "bad QC day", but par for the course.

Easier to just link to the threads where the properly staked keys are pictured already.

And to post a couple of pictures from that thread:

    Dedeye,
Those are my pics from the carrier key staking thread in the AR Technical, I guess what you've missed is that those are pics of a Colt M16 carrier. Colt and Bushmaster carrier key staking isn't even similar. Actually I would equate them as polar opposites.....

Oops. I knew the pics were of Colt BCGs and didn't mean to suggest they were Bushmaster BCGs. My post was in reference to C4 saying some people may not know what a properly staked key looks like, and not to the other poster saying that his BM BCG's were properly staked. Sorry for the confusion.

Calling folks who own Bushmasters, please post pics of your gas staking........or lack there of, which ever it may be.
