Try 91 or 99% alcohol. Then when clean use cat crap.

Am I the only one shooting hundreds of rounds suppressed through a handgun with an RMR? Someone’s gotta know how to fix this.
    If its the edges:
    1. Use q-tip cotton swabs
    2. Make sure you form the swab into the edges - seems they are deeper than it looks. If not you'll have a vignette.
    3. spray with mpro7 - Its taken all the carbon off so far.
    4. Make sure you also clean the back side of the lens and emitter lens. Mine get pretty dirty.

    This.

High concentration rubbing alcohol, AFTER ensuring any dust and debris has been blown out.

You can try this for the edges.

    https://www.tamiyausa.com/shop/finis...larsmall-50pcs

They hold their shape better than a q-tip. I use them around the needle of my airbrush. Several sizes and you can find them at Hobby Lobby or Micheals. Normally around the plastic model kits and paints.

Also available at Walmart or Target in the beauty section. They are much better for getting into those tough to reach edges where the optic body and glass meet. I've used them on Aimpoints, EoTech, etc and they work great.

New pics. Did an NV shoot the other day and used the laser exclusively so I wasn’t cleaning the lens.

After I cleaned it, I still can’t get rid of the halo around the edges.

I emailed trijicon and they were worthless.

I don’t want to damage the lens but eventually this is going to ruin it anyway. I surely can’t be the only person with this problem?

Its really difficult to hit that area because if how the housing sticks out- did you try soaking with mpro7 or other optic-safe (at least hasnt caused issues for me yet) solvent?

I push the tip of a qtip into a point and use it like a pencil to scrub that area. It takes more time than the rest but should clean up. I clear it out pretty often as its annoying as hell.

Edit- to reach it- you have to push the tip in there further than you think- The crevice is deeper than it looks... There is some kind of joke there somewhere*♂️

I shoot my FNX45 suppressed , and have used fine point Q tips( wife uses them for make up stuff) and Simple Green. Its worked OK, but like you still have crud in the edges.
