Stupid question, with mechanical/liquid adhesive attachment of gas blocks to barrels will the gas block now become a consumable item with the barrel because of removal damage?

I noticed that someone else in this thread had a recommendation for Green Loctite but didn't specify which type. He (Outlander Systems) may have been referring to using Green 209 on the set screws only.

    Care to comment Outlander Systems?
That was a meme post. For the love god don’t use green loctite on anything you care about

Some of questionable quality wear out before the barrel XD

I would get a new GB even if it had not been green loctite'd if it had been on a barrel for 20k rounds. BCM sells them for $45. Well worth the cost for peace of mind IMO. I'd get a new gas tube also. If you can buy all that ammo, you can very likely afford a new block and tube to go along with your new barrel.

The only part anyone would consider to not be consumable is the lower receiver. I doubt most even care unless its an MG lower, as a few of the $400 colt lowers will last for your lifetime and mine.
Don't believe a word I say; I took a solid hit to the head and I'm a murse.

Although blocks are relatively cheap, I'm not paying for a new one if I don't have to. There's no wear on a gas block, so I'd reuse them without a doubt.
