    M&P .45/9mm slide stop compatibility?

Will a 9/40/357 slide stop work in a full size .45? I want to enhance the reset on my .45 (first gen not m2.0). And was hoping to be able to put the slide stop in with the bump.

FYI: The 9/40/357 slide stop came in. It looks dimensionally identical to the .45 slide stop. I called S&W and they have only one part number for all pre m2.0 full size slide stops. I will install tomorrow and confirm.

Took a few minutes this morning to install. Was in a rush and didn't take any pics. It fits and function perfectly in dry fire with dummy rounds. Reset is noticably improved. Not Glock reset but definitely audible and tactike enough to ride it. Will post a video if I can find a free host that works.

    In case anyone cares.

Here is a video of the improved reset. Trigger pull is .4.5 lbs. There is a little more friction felt during take up when pulling through the firing pin block. The actual pull weight has not changed. I love this trigger. I had Apex stuff in my Shield 9 but it didn't come close to the feel Burwell delivers.
