Mossberg 930 JM Pro?....... or alternatives

Looking for a tacticalish semi auto shotgun to start messing around with. I’ve been a pump and single shot user my whole life with growing up Deer/ turkey and small game hunting. I’m now in the market for something that I can shoot at some speed and possible use in some local 3 gun matches. Looking around the 5-600$ mark and the mossberg seems to check all the boxes for me. Anybody have any personal experiences with the 930 or comparable options? Thankyou.

I like my JMPro Just fine at that price point. I had the magtube chamfered at the extension interface and installed a OR3GUN Spacer Tube: http://or3gun.com/OR3GUN/about_or3gun_marine.htm.

Here is a thread on the JMPro from BrianEnos: http://forums.brianenos.com/topic/21...get-it-to-run/

You might also take a look at the Stoeger 3000 MK3: https://www.stoegerindustries.com/m3k-3-gun-shotgun buy it at https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/...+3+Gun+Edition

Here's a thread on the Stoeger from Brian Enos: http://forums.brianenos.com/topic/17...00-scattergun/ (page 75 is where they reallly start talking about the MK3)

Thanks for the reply and with my google search I have come across the stoeger. Seems to be getting pretty strong reviews for the price point. I actually just got done putting some rounds through a stoeger m3500 (the 3.5”) version patterning some turkey loads on my brothers gun and really liked it.

I have nothing to report on the JM pro other than I stayed away after reading some unfavorable online reviews.

However, I recently bought a Stoeger M3K for local 3 gun matches. I put a MOA Precision +6 magazine tube (10 +1) to up the capacity. After cleaning off the thick grease from the factory, I’ve put a hundred or so rounds of Walmart sourced Federal and Winchester figuring out which choke (comes with four) I like. Only two malfunctions to report and the gun points and handles very well. I have to run some slugs through it before I enter a match, but with a quality magazine extension tube you should be ready to rock for local 3gun matches..

A member here (Vic303) has a Stoeger 3000, you might ask them about experience with it.
