Not the revolver I would pick for hunting but would make an excellent woods carry piece.

Side NOTE on video. Seems barrel length on Pistols and Revolvers are not measured the same way. Pistol barrel length is measure from the head of the cartridge/breech face. Revolver barrel length is measure from the beginning of the barrel throat.

On paper, shuld be superior I'd think as it's a bigger bullet traveling at similar velocity. Not sure what it brings to the table, but I guess a .357 sized wheel gun with superior ballistics?

As a owner of a 4" GP100 in .357 mag, I think having it in 10mm is awesome. Dual cartridge capability makes it that much better.

The Ruger Manual advises against using .40 S&W. Because its a Rimless Cartridge, the headspace is set at the mouth of the case and not a rim. Even with the Moon clips, Ruger said they experienced light primer strikes. Also have to worry about fouling the chamber for the longer 10mm.

Will do. Waiting for an opportunity to get to the range.

Dang, that's a bummer. I always like the idea of a "backup cartridge" if the gun grabbers made the primary cartridge availability difficult.

Agreed. The 10mm more closely pushes what a .41 Mag can do. I would take that over a .357 any day the week.
