    Precision AR

    6A939A86-3FAD-4864-BAF6-A6A0FB83F718.jpg

    SPR-ish clone.

    Upper:

    VLTOR MUR
WOA 18” SPR barrel, 1:7 twist, rifle gas
    AAC 51T flash hider
    Sionics 15” handguard
    MI lo-pro gas block
    Raptor charging handle
    Gemtech suppressed bolt carrier
Sionics bolt, firing pin, cam pin and firing pin retaining pin
Bushnell 3-12x50 scope in a PEPR mount
    Sometimes wears an M4-2000 suppressor

    Lower:

    Spikes Tactical stripped lower
Anderson LPK (mistakes were made, never again)
    LaRue MBT trigger
Tapco Saw grip (a personal favorite of mine, my SBR and Ruger Precision Rimfire wear it as well)
    Regular-guy A2 stock

For a rifle-gas firearm, it has a very soft recoil impulse, even without the suppressor. Maybe I’m too used to my 12.5” SBR, I don’t know for sure. Ran about 60 rounds of 62gr FMJ in order to test functionality and get on paper, no serious groups just yet. Looking forward to seeing how it does with good ammo. I have five ten-round sample loads ready to go to see what it likes, that’ll be the next range trip.

How's that rifle shooting? I've heard great things about that WOA barrel.

So far, it’s a blast. I’m still in the process of working a load up for it, right now it seems to like 75gr Hornady BTHPs but I have a few more test loads to run through it first.

That's great. I built one up on an 18 inch Faxon Match Series barrel and its one of my favorite rifles to shoot. Inexpensive for me and great training / intro gun for the kids.
